Donald Trump cancelled an executive order that cut federal contracts (aka, money) and suspended security clearances for the law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP. This law firm's partners had filed a lawsuit against perpetrators of the 6 Hanuary 2021 riots at the Capitol. Trump has released all and pardoned many of those known as "J6ers." The revocation of the execurtive order happened after the firm agreed to abandon diversity poplitcies and provide $40 millio in pro bono legal services (free legal assistance) for White House initiatives.
